BIS require Arabic and English languages proficiency test before admission into Primary section to ensure you can read, write and speak fluently.

Parents may fill out an enrollment form after touring the school and meeting with an administrator, who will answer questions and discuss availability of admissions.
Families typically enroll their child for the start of the school year program, which begins in September. However, we also offer rolling admissions. This allows children to join a classroom at any point during the year if space is available.
Yes, BIS is designed specifically for kids of 4 months of age (Crèche), 2 to 5yrs (Nursery), 6 to 11 years of age (Primary) and Islamiyyah (i.e. age 3 to 16).
The orientation sessions at BIS is scheduled a few days after to the resumption of classes. In addition, all registered students will receive a notification regarding specific orientation dates.
At orientation, new parents and students will gain knowledge that will be invaluable throughout their studies. In addition, orientation allows students to mingle with classmates, meet students, and acquire information regarding facilities and equipment.

At Beginnings, we hire only the most experienced, qualified, and well-educated teachers. Our hiring requirements surpass those ordinary criteria, all of our teachers have higher qualification to teach, as well as an in-depth understanding of early childhood development and experience in the field.
After they are hired, teachers participate in an in-depth training, including education technology teaching methods, and receive ongoing professional development in the BIS approaches to teaching and learning from certified workshop leaders to continually promote their awareness of current educational practices and new thinking and periodically training sessions with our consultants internal and external recourse persons.
We discourage parents from trying to talk to a teacher in the morning as they are busy preparing for the school day. We advise parents to speak to the teacher at the end of the school day after all the children have been dismissed.
We can also make appointments in the school office for parents to see the class teacher or another member of staff.
BIS has a great sense of community with some ways for parents to get involved because they remain the most influential people in their children’s lives.
Parents have prominent role and are the center of their child’s world that is why we encourage them to play positive role and take an active part in their children’s learning journey both inside and outside the school.

BIS is open throughout the year and is closed only at the end of academic term. We are also closed on recognized and public holidays such as Last 10 days of Ramadan, National (Independence) Day, Workers Day, Democracy Day, Eid el Fitr, Eid el Kabir, Id el Maulud, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Boxing Day, Easter Monday, etc.
The academic calendar usually runs from September through July with Breaks for holidays. Students attend three total academic terms
We have conducive classrooms where children are grouped by age. In our classroom there are up to 14 to 15 students per classroom, with two teachers.
We provide healthy meal (breakfast and lunch) and snacks.
Busing is available for students in Nursery, Primary and Islamiyya sections.
Yes. We take security very seriously. Our entrances are locked at all times, and parents are confirmed before entrance into the premises.
Yes. At the end of each academic term and depending on the duration of the vacation, BIS offers summer programs for children ages 3 to 17 years. Programs are managed by our experienced and creative teachers and fully utilize the school’s beautiful surroundings. Our facilities also allow us to offer other fun summer activities.
